Mortgage Ledger is a small, independently run publication. Every message goes directly to the person who writes and maintains the site, and every message gets read.
Use the form below to report an error in a calculator or an article, ask a general question about how something on this site works, or send feedback about the calculators, the guides, or anything that is unclear or broken. Corrections are especially welcome — if a number here does not match what you are seeing from your lender, we want to know about it. Our corrections policy explains what happens after you report a mistake.
Do not send sensitive financial information. Never include your Social Security number, date of birth, bank or credit-card account numbers, loan numbers, login credentials, or copies of loan documents, tax returns, or pay stubs. This form is not a secure channel, and Mortgage Ledger has no need for any of it. If a message contains information like this, it will be deleted without being acted on.
What this inbox cannot do. Mortgage Ledger is an educational publisher, not a lender, broker, or adviser. We cannot tell you whether to take a specific loan, review or interpret your Loan Estimate or closing documents, recommend a lender, quote you a rate, or give you personalized financial, legal, or tax advice. Questions of that kind belong with a licensed mortgage professional who can see your full situation.
Send a message
Expected response time: most messages get a reply within five business days. Error reports are read first and are usually acknowledged sooner. If you would rather write directly, the address is pacificledgerstudio@gmail.com.
How your message is handled
The name, email address, and message you submit are used for one purpose: to read and answer your message. They are not sold, rented, or used to build an advertising profile, and they are not added to a mailing list — Mortgage Ledger does not operate one. Messages are retained only as long as needed to resolve the matter and to keep a record of reported errors, then deleted. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy, and the rules that govern use of this site are in the Terms of Use.
Who you are writing to
Mortgage Ledger is operated by Dominic Wu, who writes, maintains, and reviews everything published here. Background, areas of experience, and — just as important — the limits of that experience are set out on the author page.
